We've all been there before...heartbroken:(... It's one of those things no one wants to talk about, but yet everyone at some point in their lives goes through it. We recently stumbled upon Sara Davison and were impressed with her mission to change the stigma associated with divorce and single parents in the UK. She wants to encourage people to ask for help, and teach them the skills to get from where they are to where they want to be.
With a wealth of experience helping others through challenging situations, as well as the experience of her own marriage breakdown, Sara was inspired to create a bespoke divorce coaching program that would help guide those battling through the process of divorce to help them move forward. Q: What is your typical daily beauty regime?
A: I cleanse and moisturise twice a day and always make sure to take my make up off as soon as I get home from a busy day with clients. I also have a facial every six weeks to keep my skin looking refreshed and rejuvenated.
Q: Your hero skin product you cannot live without?
A: Guerlain eye gel - it brightens up any tired eyes!
Q: What hair products do you swear by?
A: I keep it simple as long as I have a light shampoo because I wash my hair every day and a good deep penetrating conditioner.
Q: What’s your fav nail shade of the moment?
A: Neon pink rocks right now!
Q: What and/or who inspires you most?
A: I'm loving the way Jennifer Lopez is dealing with the break up of her long term relationship right now. She has kept her head held high and says she is learning from her mistakes. It's always good to take responsibility for your part in a relationship.
Q: What mindful practices do you highly recommend to your clients when they are going through difficult times?
A: As a Divorce Coach I specialise in helping people cope with heartbreak and separation. Everyone deals with stress and trauma differently so I work to find a way that suits the individual client. It's important to focus your mind on ways to help you get through the tough times rather than why it is happening. Keeping active and asking yourself better questions such as "What can I do right now to help me feel better?" are all important to help you heal.
Q: What helps you personally to reduce stress and stay grounded?
A: I like going to the gym and having a work out that pushes me. I also love to spend time with the people that matter most to me. I'm a big believer that it's family and friends that matter most in life.
Q: What’s your perfect day?
A: Start with a fresh home made juice followed by a session at my gym. Then working with my clients and writing my blog. I love doing the school run to collect my little boy from school and enjoy playtime with him before his bedtime. Relaxing with a nice meal, a good movie and a chat with a good friend over Skype to catch up is the perfect ending to the day.
Q: Where is your ideal getaway destination?
A: Somewhere stunning and warm with a white beach and turquoise sea.
Q: What is your favourite Perfect 10 treatment and why?
A: I love their French manicure because it looks smart and goes with everything!
